Home Aid Home Builders Care
Our Mission is to build dignified housing where homeless
families and individuals can rebuild their lives in the Dallas
metropolitan area. In 2000, HomeAid/Home Builders Care
a program that increases the availability of life-changing
shelters for homeless people committed to turning their
lives around, was established under the auspices of the
Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas (HBA). Home
Aid/Home Builders Care is a fully recognized 501 (c) (3)
origination.
HomeAid/Home Builders Care is a revolutionary
public/private non-profit partnership program designed to
increase the number of shelter beds utilizing its expertise
to identify effective reputable shelter providers in local
communities who are in need of new or expanded facilities.
Home Aid recruits a Builder Captain who will lead and
supervise the construction or renovation of the project and
in turn bring the in-kind resources of their sub-contractors,
suppliers and consultants while Home Aid works closely
with community leaders to maximize community support.
